Guinness and Whiskey Float

Create a delicious alcoholic ice cream float using two St. Paddy’s day staples — Guinness and whiskey

Guinness and whiskey floatTo get you started on your Tipsy Scoop Guinness and whiskey float, you’re going to need the following ingredients:

  • Tipsy Scoop Dark Chocolate Whiskey Salted Caramel ice cream
  • Tipsy Scoop Vanilla Bean Bourbon ice cream
  • Guiness
  • Nutella
  • Skittles, chocolate coins, or marshmallows

First, add one scoop of Vanilla Bean Bourbon and one scoop of Dark Chocolate Whiskey to your glass. While you’re adding your alcoholic ice cream scoops, be sure to add a dollop of Nutella in between scoops. Once your ice cream and Nutella are in the glass, top the whole thing with Guiness. Finally, use your skittles, chocolate coins, or marshmallows to get creative with a garnish. And there you have it — the perfect float to get your St. Paddy’s day party started!

Boilermaker

Fluffy, decadent ice cream with the sweetness of whiskey and roasty tones of stout

Tipsy Scoop's BoilermakerLove whiskey and stout? Then this recipe is for you! Here’s what you need to make our Boilermaker:

  • 6 cups of ice cream mix
  • 1 cup of Stout Beer
  • ¼ cup Whiskey

In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the above ingredients and stir. Cover the bowl in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker until it has a gelato-like consistency. Next, transfer the ice cream into a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 8 hours before serving. To elevate this recipe, serve a scoop on top of a brownie or cookie skillet and drizzle with chocolate fudge. 

Whiskey Dreams Sundae

Tipsy Scoop's Whiskey Dreams SundaeOur Whiskey Dreams sundae is delicious, boozy, and fun to make! Here is what you need to get started:

  • Chocolate frosting
  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • 2 brownies
  • Tipsy Scoop Dark Chocolate Whiskey Salted Caramel ice cream
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Caramel sauce

Starting off, spread the chocolate frosting on the rim of a pint glass and dip in chocolate sprinkles until the rim is coated. Next, crumble up a brownie and add the crumbled pieces to the bottom of the glass. After that, add 2 scoops Tipsy Scoop Dark Chocolate Whiskey Salted Caramel alcoholic ice cream to the glass. The two scoops should fill your glass about halfway.  Once your alcoholic ice cream is in the glass, drizzle the top with your chocolate and caramel sauce. For your last step, repeat adding 2 scoops of ice cream and topping with chocolate and caramel sauce until your glass is filled to the top.

  • Nutella
  • 4 shot glasses
  • Rainbow sprinkles
  • Tipsy Scoop Dark Chocolate Whiskey Salted Caramel ice cream
  • Tipsy Scoop Spiked Mint Chip ice cream
  • Tipsy Scoop Vanilla Bean Bourbon ice cream
  • Skittles, chocolate coins, or marshmallows

To start preparing your flight, spread Nutella on the rim of 4 shot glasses and dip in rainbow sprinkles. Then, set your shot glasses aside to dry. Once they’re dry, use a small ice cream scoop to fill shot glasses with scoops of Dark Chocolate Whiskey Salted Caramel, Spiked Mint Chip, and Vanilla Bean Bourbon ice cream. After that, arrange ice cream shots on your flight paddle so colors and flavors are alternating. To top it off, garnish each shot glass with St. Paddy's toppings like Skittles, gold coins, and mini marshmallows. How easy is that?
